Nuclear Disarmament - How far have we come?

There is talk of Republicans in the Senate and hard-line Russians in their Parliament, refusing to ratify the treaty, signed today by the presidents of the United States and Russia.

  12. The message to the world should be that a nuclear attack is an invitation to annihilation. The question for those enamored of the idea of becoming a nuclear power should be, how cost-effective are these hideously expensive weapons you dare not use?
